Within five minutes it was clear that Spain was the much better side and that the game would not be competitive. The Honduras attack did not look threatening at any point during this game.
David Villa was the most effective player on the field by a long shot. His goal in the 17th minute is in the early running for goal of the tournament. His strike partner Fernando Torres still looks out of sorts. He had some slick moves and a few penetrating runs but his finishing is less then clinical.
Spain were dominant but it bothers me they have only been able to score two goals in two games against inferior opponents. A win against Chile will put them at the top of the group but a game against either Brazil or Portugal is looming.
